Thank you all for your continued patronage and support of Ginza Saisho.
The building where our restaurant is located has been scheduled for demolition, and our deadline to vacate was the end of October this year.
We had been searching daily for a new location, visiting over 20 properties, and we are pleased to announce that we have successfully signed a lease for a fully equipped restaurant space in Nagatacho.
From September 2025, Ginza Saisho will relocate to Nagatacho.
The new location is just 5 steps from Exit 4 of Tokyo Metro Nagatacho Station and down 13 stairs — an excellent spot where you can arrive almost completely dry even on rainy days. Nagatacho Station is served by three lines — the Yurakucho, Namboku, and Hanzomon lines — and is also close to Akasaka-mitsuke Station, giving access to a total of five lines.
The new restaurant is a basement “turnkey” property. The previous tenant (Nagatacho Uokatsu) closed just two months after opening, so the facilities are in near-new condition. It is fully equipped with a steam convection oven, dishwasher, and more, and will be ready to use after only minor adjustments.
By coincidence, the property owner had once visited Ginza Saisho as a customer. Through a post we made on Facebook seeking a new location, we were introduced to this property. We are deeply grateful for this connection.
For more details about the new location, please see the bottom of this page.
While it is sad to leave Ginza, we feel relieved to have secured a new place to take on fresh challenges.
Since our founding in Oimachi 23 years ago, and over eight years in Ginza, we have been honed by the community and have had the honor of welcoming many customers from both Japan and overseas. This is my pride and my treasure.
Therefore, even though we are leaving Ginza physically, we will keep the name “Ginza Saisho.”
During our two previous relocations amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we also conducted crowdfunding campaigns. At that time, many customers later told us:
“I don’t use (or didn’t check) social media, so I had no idea you were doing crowdfunding. If I had known, I would have contributed, even just a little.”
For that reason, this time we are also reaching out by email, based on past visit records.
In addition, considering that 70% of our customers now come from overseas, we have also created our own support page to make it easier for international customers who have visited us before to contribute within their means.
Whether you choose to support us through the crowdfunding platform CAMPFIRE or through our own website, we are truly grateful.
All contributions received will be carefully used for the relocation contract, moving expenses, and operational costs for the new restaurant.
We would be deeply grateful if you could extend your support within a reasonable capacity.
Thank you very much in advance.
